Zoe Stavrinidis
As you all probably know, it only takes one brilliant woman to make a big difference to your life and Zoe certainly made a difference to ours. Based on Arabella Lewis's original idea, Zoe Stavrinidis helped us launch bw! in the last few months of her life. She was passionate about having a network where women really felt the support of others, where they could flourish and grow, where they could empower themselves and those around them.
Sometime after Zoe's death, Meave Darroux took over the baton of running bw! alongside Yvonne Fuchs.
Our Patron
It gives me great pleasure to announce the appointment of Nina Barough CBE founder of 'Walk the Walk' as the official Patron of Brilliant Women.
Nina said "The concept of Brilliant Women has always seemed to me a wonderful idea, so I felt very honoured to be asked to become the Patron of this special organisation and very delighted to accept. I know that women have a unique and special energy and when you put many women together, you have a force that can move mountains and does! By taking on the role of Patron, I hope that I can pass on my life experiences and perhaps encourage others to bravely follow their dreams."
Enjoyed Nina's speech, the energy and the overall mood. Would like to attend another event and volunteer with BW.
